A New Standard for Immersive Display in VR/AR
 

Visionox has addressed this challenge by introducing a glass-based AMOLED architecture that breaks new ground in display engineering. Through proprietary pixel structure design and an ultra-precise 1.5μm manufacturing process, Visionox has successfully achieved a record-breaking 2000 PPI on a glass substrate. This milestone effectively eliminates the "screen-door effect"—visible pixelation common in lower-resolution VR displays for vr—and delivers a seamless, immersive viewing experience.

Unlike smartphones or TVs, VR headsets are worn in close proximity to the eyes, demanding much higher pixel densities to deliver realistic visuals. Current mainstream microdisplay solutions rely on silicon-based OLED (Micro OLED) technology, which—while capable of high PPI—depends on semiconductor-grade silicon backplanes. These silicon backplanes are expensive and limit the screen size, becoming a key bottleneck for the mass adoption of VR.
